UNC Health Southeastern Home Medical Equipment & Complex Mobility

A one-stop resource for medical, respiratory and rehabilitation equipment and supplies. Beyond simply providing the tools, we educate the patient on their use as well as service and repair all of our equipment.

Equipment Available 

UNC Health Southeastern Home Medical Equipment and Complex Mobility sells and rents a wide variety of equipment and supplies as well as provides services for products that require demonstration and education. Our inventory includes, but is not limited to:

Power Mobility
UNC Health Southeastern Home Medical Equipment and Complex Mobility has a wheelchair and complex mobility specialist who provides expertise in specialized and customized wheelchairs for both adults and children. In addition, specialty cushions, seat backs, individualized seat functions, and alternative means of power chair operation, as well as communication devices, can be provided.

Ambulatory Aids
Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, rollators

Basic Living Equipment
Hospital beds, bedroom and bathroom safety supplies/equipment, personal care items, assistive devices

Respiratory Equipment
Oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP, nebulizers, respiratory supplies

Pediatric Services
Nebulizers
**Basic living equipment for pediatrics with special needs is also available including car seats and bath tubs.

UNC Health Southeastern Home Medical Equipment and Complex Mobility is accredited by Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

Equipment and supplies may be purchased or rented using private payment, Medicaid, Medicare, or thirdparty insurance. A physician order is required for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance.
