Find Your Cause
Excellence in health care has been the primary focus of UNC Health Southeastern throughout the years. UNC Health Southeastern Foundation was formed to help continue to improve and expand these services. Your donation makes a difference! Here are the areas in greatest need of support:
Hope Starts Here
At UNC Health Southeastern’s Gibson Cancer Center, hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s a movement.
Our Hope Starts Here campaign is a community-driven effort to honor, uplift, and walk beside those facing cancer. Through two powerful symbols the Tree of Hope and the Path to Hope we're creating lasting ways for patients, families, teammates, and donors to connect and be part of something bigger.
Whether you give, volunteer, or dedicate a tribute, you become part of a growing circle of strength and support. Together, we’re building a place where healing begins and continues-with hope at the heart of it all.

Delivering for Women
UNC Health Southeastern has cared for women and their families during pivotal points in their lives. Our commitment is stronger than ever to deliver patient and family-focused care for women and newborns for generations to come.
UNC Health Southeastern has enhanced its women’s health services through a multi-phased initiative to modernize hospital services for women, mothers, and babies, as well as consolidate its women’s health clinics into one combined setting.
This effort has created a state-of-the-art environment that matches and enhances the clinical excellence patients have received for decades, in a facility meeting today’s architectural standards, as well as provider, patient and family expectations.
If you’re passionate about our community's families, there are countless ways you can make an impact. Join us in our commitment to the next generation of families in our community born here at UNC Health Southeastern.

Medi+Sign
With your help, UNC Health Southeastern Foundation is supporting the integration of modernized patient information boards designed to improve patient communication, experience, coordination of care, and safety throughout the hospital.
The new, patient-facing, digital displays help foster a proactive approach to healthcare designed to connect to existing electronic health records to communicate continuously updated and accurate information on the status of each patient, in an easy-to-read format for our patients and their families.
Through the digital boards, the daily care story will deliver enhanced communication to patients, families, and caregivers providing peace of mind, reducing anxiety, and offering transparency around the plan of care. Your support is absolutely helping make this technology a reality for UNC Health Southeastern patients and patient families.
