Main Corridor Construction Update: Weekend Impacts

During the weekends from September 25 through October 19, renovations will take place along the Human Resources and Administration hallways. The hallways will be closed from Fridays at 6 p.m. through Mondays at 6 a.m. on each of the said weekends.

Teammates who work on the weekends during this time should avoid parking in the West Parking Lot and entering through the employee entrance from the West Lot, and instead, utilize the 3^rd and 4^th floors of the parking deck and enter through the Rust Tower employee entrance or park along West 27^th Street to enter by the wooden ramp across from UNC Health Internal Medicine at Tanglewood.

Weekend teammates requiring access around closed areas should utilize elevators and stairwells to detour along the 2^nd floor.

Food Services: The temporary food serving area will still be accessible during these weekend hallway closures, with the main cafeteria reopening on October 19. Teammates will be able to access food services and cafeteria areas using the main corridor.

Thank you for your understanding as we continue to pursue excellence and get closer to completion of this important upgrade for our medical center.
