In observance of February as Heart Month, UNC Health Southeastern Cardiology and Cardiovascular Care will host a free screening event for
early detection of Peripheral Artery Disease (P.A.D.). The screening will include free blood pressure checks and free ABI screenings. For ABI screenings, patients should be prepared to remove their shoes for the exam that could take up to 20 minutes to complete.
